Be a part of the Shinju Matsuri 2026! Whether you're a local or just visiting, you're either in the thick of the festivities or helping behind the scenes to make the magic happen! As a volunteer, you'll not only have a blast but also help keep the Shinju Matsuri tradition alive and kicking for years to come.
We know volunteers come from all walks of life and have varying levels of skills, experiences and involvement. Some can only do one or two shifts through the Festival period; others will dedicate themselves to most events. It's up to you! Volunteer roles include simple hospitality tasks such as scanning tickets, assisting attendees, clearing tables; crowd control and marshalling; bump in and out of events. Some of you might be helping backstage or selling raffle tickets and taking on other exciting jobs.
The volunteer manager will work with you and tailor your shifts to your schedule and experience. We want you to enjoy being at the heart of the festival and gain lasting memories!
