What's Happening?

The Shinju Matsuri Arts Awards get more exciting every year with the sheer diversity of incredible talent we have here in Broome. Entering artists are encouraged to find inspiration from Shinju Matsuri as well as the diverse culture, history & people of Broome.

This year’s Art Awards exhibition will take over the Broome Civic Centre from Tuesday 2nd September to Sunday 7th September.

Free entry for all to admire the art pieces entered into this years Art Awards and a chance to vote on the Peoples Choice Award - announced at Festival Finale 7th Sept.

Art pieces will be available to purchase. 

Key Dates

Mon 01 Sept Art Awards Presentation, 6pm - 8pm.

Tue 02 Sept – Sat 06 Sept Art Awards Exhibition Open, 10am - 4pm daily.

Sun 07 Sept Art Awards Exhibition Open, 10am-2pm.

Sun 07 Sept People’s Choice Award announced at the Festival Finale, 6pm - 8pm.
