What's Happening?

The Floating Lanterns is a free community event. One of the most beautiful moments of the festival. Inspired by the Japanese Obon celebration, this ceremony honours loved ones with lanterns drifting on the waters.

Held at Gantheaume Beach, this special evening is a tribute to loved ones past and present. Create a personalised lantern, gently release your lantern into the sea and take a moment to reflect.
