What's Happening?

“At the end of the day people won’t remember what you said or did, they will remember how you made them feel…”

Maya Angelou

A Broome night to remember….

“Woven stories from a stormy Celtic coastline, all the way to the blood-red dirt of the Kimberley…”

Wil Thomas, with Phoebe Corke and special guests. ‘An Evening at the Old Sail Makers Shed’

The smell of lanolin and Jarrah, of canvas, history and of mystery….

Truly the last original Broome building, built in the time of the towns pearling heyday. The stories it must surely hold secret in its walls….

An intimate night of live music, of stories in song, featuring the work of West Australian Songwriter, Wil Thomas, with violin accompaniment by Fremantle’s Phoebe Corke, along with special guest musicians adding their magic to this unique, musical and lyrical journey. It promises to be a Broome night to remember…

Tales of bygone times, in faraway lands, to political gangsters in a country closer to home. History and revolution, love and redemption, Shared here for one night, in the most iconic building in The Kimberley; Charlie Bagges Sail-makers Shed, where nothing has changed since old Charlie shut the creaking door for the last time in the early 1900’s…

The perfect venue for an unforgettable Dry season evening of music and story, featuring two of W.A’s unique original artists, with very special guest, Adele Oliver, recently returned from a European tour and opening the evening, with her beautiful songs and stories.

Tickets are limited.
