The Narlis, featuring Aboriginal artists Stephen Pigram and Mark Atkins with some of Australia’s finest instrumentalists Stephen Magnusson, Erkki Veltheim, Joe Talia, Tristen Parr and Tos Mahoney, meld a vibrant and exciting sound world in Tura New Music’s ‘Kimberley Echoes.’ Created in, and inspired by, the landscape and communities of the Kimberley, this stunning convergence of cultural forces takes audiences on a powerful and memorable journey.

The Narlis will be joined by guest artists Naomi Pigram, Gabriel Nodea and Paul Boon.

Full of celebration and sense of place, ‘Kimberley Echoes’ features songs of the Kimberley alongside newly commissioned music in a program that reaches across cultures, time and place.
