Shinju Matsuri Ball
A star of the stage and screen Dan Sultan is a famous name in Broome with his second album released in late 2009, tour with Black Arm Band that played at last year’s Shinju Matsuri and a guest starring role in local musical Bran Nue Dae.
With an established band of great musicians in full swing Dan Sultan plays a captivating, powerful live show with a potent onstage charisma that is rarely seen. His big band with a horn section, keys and blazing guitars will play at the Shinju Matsuri Ball on the 40th anniversary of the festival with what is sure to be a knock out live performance.
The stunning Shinju Matsuri Ball is a favourite evening on the Calendar of Events and will be held at the Broome Turf Club on Saturday 4 September 2010.
The Ball is a great opportunity to get dressed up and dance the night away in one of Broome’s most exciting establishments.
A highlight of celebrations includes local and nationally touring artists and a sit down meal that adds a splash of glamour towards the end of a 10 day festival.
Other performances include a tribute to show stopping songstresses by Deck Arts and local act Phat Monkey.
