Shinju Matsuri Art Awards

The Shinju Matsuri Art Awards is open to all residents of Broome and the Kimberley (6 months minimum) and is an opportunity to see a variety of interpretations of Broome’s identity and to acknowledge gifted artists who work with different mediums.

The art community in Broome is exploding with talent and with the region’s natural beauty as a backdrop it is easy to see where the inspiration comes from.

Artists may find inspiration through reflecting on the past and the harmonious celebration of multiculturalism and diversity of Shinju Matsuri.

Works can be submitted in the categories of: Painting; Works On Paper; Photography; Aboriginal Art; and Sculpture.

Opening Times: Tuesday 13 to Friday 16 September between  9am and 4pm daily & Saturday 17 September  between 9am and 1 pm.
